I had a friend in high school that had an 86 Ranger that was diesel. It was the slowest vehicle I’ve ever been in. Learned to drive stick in it though.

Oh I bet. I’m not positive but I’m convinced the engine is the same you’d find in a pipeline welder... 1800RPM all day!
